Liotta falls for ‘Things’

Thesp joins Van Peebles-directed indie drama

Ray Liotta has joined the cast of indie drama “Things Fall Apart” opposite rapper-turned-actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, with Mario Van Peebles directing.

Jackon and Randall Emmett are producing “Things” through their Cheetah Vision Films banner from a script by Jackson and Brian Miller. The film centers around a star football running back, played by Jackson, who faces a personal tragedy as well as his own mortality while in his senior year in college.

Liotta is portraying the doctor in the pic, which has been shooting in Michigan. Van Peebles, Lynn Whitfield, comedian Mike P and Steve Eastin also star.
