Lionsgate U.K. snaps up ‘Jack Falls’

Film unit nabs distrib rights to final chapter in trilogy

Lionsgate U.K. has snapped up distribution rights to gritty Brit pic “Jack Falls,” the final installment of the “Jack” trilogy based on the comic of the same name.

Pic, helmed and penned by Paul Tanter and Alexander Williams, follows an undercover police officer who returns to London to seek revenge and settle some scores with former criminals and police colleagues.

It stars Tamer Hassan (“The Business,” “Layer Cake”), Jason Flemying (“Clash of the Titans,” “Kick Ass), Simon Phillips (“The Last Seven”), Alan Ford (“Snatch”), Dexter Fletcher (“Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”) and Martin Kemp (“The Krays”).

U.K.-based Andy Thompson and Simon Phillips produce the pic and negotiated the deal with Lionsgate’s Nicola Pearcy.

Stealth Media Group is repping the pic internationally and domestically here at AFM.
