Ladies ‘Killers’

Ashton tweets while Heigl meets fans at Lionsgate premiere

Crowd control was in full effect on Tuesday for the premiere of Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl’s action slash romantic comedy, “Killers.” Cars full of girls on Sunset called out to the pic’s male topliner. And while Heigl jumped over the ropes to sign autographs and meet her many admirers at the Cinerama Dome, Kutcher stayed focused on addressing several social media platforms, including his own.

Asked about life’s pleasures, producer and star Kutcher talked bigger picture. “It’s definitely being on Bill Maher,” he roused. “Like, that’s my favorite thing.” A social media maven who promoted “Killers” via Twitter leading up to the preem, Kutcher said he also loves the creative-building process. “I just really like making stuff and entertaining people, inspiring people, educating people and connecting people. Via whatever way we can.”

For her part, Demi Moore made an extremely brief visit to the red carpet with her husband, departing with a quick “I’m going to go find the bar.”

Heigl found the “little things” in her own marriage inspirational for the “Killers” role of a newlywed who discovers she’s married to an assassin: “Everyone always jokes about the little things but they can become specific, you know, like picking up after yourself and putting things away and … you know … actually hearing me when I’m talking to you!”
