Kathryn Bigelow has been named guest director of the Los Angeles Film Festival, which kicks off June 17 in Downtown L.A.

The Oscar-winning helmer will join festival filmmakers and other artists at the fest’s Filmmaker Retreat at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County prior to the festival’s start.

The fest also announced conversations with directors Christopher Nolan, who will introduce a screening of “Pink Floyd the Wall,” and Edgar Wright, who will show scenes from his “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” and discuss his career with J.J. Abrams.

Richard Kelly, Eli Roth and Adam Shankman have been added as panelists at a poolside chat on The Power of the Tweet, and Coffee Talks will include directors Jay Duplass, Mark Duplass and Gary Ross, actors Shohreh Aghdashloo, James Cromwell and William Mapother, and composers BT, Moby and Gustavo Santaolalla.

Festival information is available at LAFilmFest.com.
