Katzenberg to address USC cinema school

DreamWorks Animation topper to deliver commencement

DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg will deliver the USC School of Cinematic Arts 2010 commencement address on May 14.

Katzenberg has served as CEO and Co-founder of DreamWorks Animation since its inception in 2004. The animation studio is the largest in the world and has released 18 animated feature films, including Oscar-winning “Shrek” and “Wallace & Gromit.”

USC alum and “Avatar” and “Titanic” producer Jon Landau will receive the school’s Mary Pickford Foundation Award, which honors USC alumni with extraordinary achievements in the industry. He earned an Oscar for his work on “Titanic.”
