Brit helmers set for Olympics

Dboyle_boffo2 “Slumdog Millionaire” director Danny Boyle has been named the artistic director of the 2012 London Olympics’ opening ceremony.

“It’s a fantastic responsibility,” Boyle tells AP. “When they offered us the job, they said, `Do you want to think about it?’ I said, `No, I want to do it.'”

The 2012 opening ceremony will feature the parade of 10,000 athletes from 205 nations. Over 1 billion people tuned in for the Beijing ceremony of ’08.
