HFF honors duo

Bening, Duvall to be feted at film fest

The 14th annual Hollywood Film Festival is honoring Annette Bening with the actress award and Robert Duvall with the actor nod. Bening starred in “The Kids Are All Right” and “Mother and Child” this year, while Duvall toplined “Get Low.”

Awards gala is set for Oct. 25 at the Beverly Hilton.

Greengrass feted

Helmer Paul Greengrass will be honored with the Joseph Plateau Award for career achievement at the 37th Ghent Film Fest in Ghent, Belgium. Nod will be presented to Greengrass by director Jim Sheridan on Oct. 13. Previous honorees include Sydney Pollack, Robert Altman, Mike Leigh, Agnes Varda and Alain Resnais.
