H’wood Fest to fete ‘Hours,’ ‘Network’

Sorkin, Boyle among kudo winners

The Hollywood Film Fest will honor pros behind “127 Hours” and “The Social Network” at its Oct. 25 gala.

Scribe Aaron Sorkin and editors Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall will be feted for their work on “The Social Network” while Danny Boyle and Christian Colson receive the producer kudo for “127 Hours.”

“We are honored to recognize these exceptionally talented artists for their outstanding work and creative vision at this year’s Hollywood Awards Gala,” said fest founder Carlos de Abreu. The fest, in its 14th year, will hold its gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Other honorees include Sean Penn, Helena Bonham Carter, Sam Rockwell, Andrew Garfield and Mia Wasikowska.
