Grimes set for Blash’s ‘Wait’

Actor to star opposite Sevigny, Malone

Luke Grimes (“Shit Year”) has been set as the male lead opposite Chloe Sevigny and Jena Malone in director/writer M. Blash’s “The Wait.”

Neil Kopp, Ryan Crisman and David Guy Levy are producing with principal photography beginning this week in Portland, Ore.

The film follows two sisters who decide to keep their deceased mother in the house after receiving a call that she will come back to life. Grimes will portray a philosophical and enigmatic man who becomes smitten with Malone’s character.

Sevigny and Malone also starred in Blash’s drama “Lying.” Grimes recently starred on “Brothers and Sisters.”
