German Til Schweiger off to Hollywood pics

He's cast in Fox's 'This Means War' and Arclight's 'Courier'

German thesp Til Schweiger (“Inglourious Basterds”) has been cast in a pair of high-profile features — Fox comedy “This Means War” and Arclight Films thriller “The Courier.”

He’ll portray an arms dealer in “War,” directed by McG from a scrpt by Burr Steers. Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine are starring; Robert Simonds, Jennifer Simpson, Will Smith and Witherspoon produce.

Schweiger will play an FBI agent in “The Courier” alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan, with Hany Abu-Assad (“Paradise Now”) directing.

Schweiger’s a major star in Germany, including toplining the hit “Rabbit Without Ears” and its sequel.
