Director Sax trumpets personality film

New York– Frankie and Alice” director Geoffrey Sax delivered on his promise of “three Halle Berrys for the price of one” when the fact-based multipersonality drama preemed Nov. 17 at Cinema 2.

“This is my baby. We were trying for 10 years to get someone to put up the money,” said Halle Berry, who also produced, at the Rouge Tomate after-party for the Freestyle Releasing pic.

Berry’s Frankie Murdoch goes from exotic dancer to white racist to little girl. “I just had lunch with her a few days ago,” the actress said of the real Frankie, now a teacher. “She saw the movie, and having her feel good about it and proud of it was the cherry on the top.” – — Stephen Schaefer
