Film Movement picks up ‘Undone’

Gotham distrib plans fall release

Film Movement has acquired all North American rights to the Pyramide-sold Italian erotic drama “Cosa voglio di piu” (Come Undone) helmed by Silvio Soldini.

New York-based Film Movement will give “Undone” a limited theatrical run, as well as on video on demand in the fall.

Film Movement was the U.S. distributor of two of Soldini’s previous films, “Days and Clouds” and “Agata and the Storm.”

A bittersweet chronicle of the affair between two married thirtysomethings, “Undone” stars Alba Rohrwacher and Pierfrancesco Favino (“Angels and Demons,” “Night at the Museum”).

Involved in production, distribution and international sales, Eric Lagesse’s Pyramide has been handling international on “More” for a year. Distrib will release “Undone” in France in August.

Pyramide has closed Australia (Palace), Austria (Filmladen), the former Yugoslavia (MCF), Finland (Cinema Mondo), Portugal (Clap Filmes), and Romania (Independenta).

Also sold are Hungary (Cirko Films) and Czech Republic and Slovakia (David Matous Communications).

Released by Warner Bros. April 30, “Undone” has grossed a solid $1.9 million in Italy.
