Felton to haunt ‘Apparition’

'Potter' nemesis stars opposite 'Twilight's' Greene

Tom Felton, the thesp known for playing Draco Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” franchise, is headed for a haunting alongside “Twilight” thesp Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan in “The Apparition” for Joel Silver’s Dark Castle genre label.

Story, supposedly inspired by true events, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment. Felton portrays an expert in the supernatural.

Production started last week in Berlin, to be followed by L.A. in March. Silver’s producing with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman; Steve Richards, Sue Baden Powell and Daniel Alter exec produce. Todd Lincoln wrote and is directing “Apparition,” originally developed by Lincoln, Silver Pictures/Dark Castle exec Heineman and Alter.
