Former Sony executive named senior adviser

Former Sony Pictures exec Benjamin Feingold is joining Hill & Knowlton as a senior adviser. He will provide counsel to the communication firm’s corporate, entertainment and technology clients on issues including digital media content, distribution and film production.

Feingold was at Sony for more than 18 years, during which he served as the president of worldwide home entertainment, digital distribution and product analysis. As prexy, he oversaw formats including the DVD, PS2, PS3 and portable PSP.

Feingold also served as president of business and operations at Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group.
