Egglesfield to star in ‘Borrowed’

'Melrose' thesp joins Krasinski, Goodwin in film

Colin Egglesfield (“Melrose Place”) is set to star in romancer “Something Borrowed” opposite John Krasinski and Ginnifer Goodwin, produced by Alcon-bsed 2S Fims.

He’ll portray the Dex character. Goodwin will play a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend’s fiance following her 30th birthday.

Alcon co-toppers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are producing with 2S principals Hilary Swank and Molly Smith. Aaron Lubin and Pamela Schein Murphy of Wild Ocean Films will also produce.

“Something Borrowed,” based on Emily Giffin’s debut novel of the same name, is being directed by Luke Greenfield (“The Girl Next Door”) from a script by Jennie Snyder Urman (“Lipstick Jungle”).
