Swooning tween girls were audible with their opinion of Zac Efron at Tuesday night’s preem of Universal’s “Charlie St. Cloud.” But at the Napa Valley Grille after-party in Westwood, thesp said the pic’s boat scenes weren’t all smooth sailing. “We capsized many a time.”
“That’s because you had the tippy boat,” interjected co-star Charlie Tahan.
Efron and Tahan spent the evening with castmembers Amanda Crew, Dave Franco and Augustus Prew, plus guests like screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.
As for what it was like playing a spectral sibling, Tahan said he kept it simple. “I didn’t really try and act dead.”
