Rights sales include Germany, Spain, Benelux

PARIS — “Dirty Diaries,” an omnibus of Swedish erotic shorts made by femme filmmakers, has closed a raft of sales deals.

Produced by Stockholm-based outfit Njutafilms, “Diaries” includes 12 shorts directed by young female artists, directors and feminists to create “12 propositions to rethink pornography.”

The collection was acquired by Petra Joy for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Lust Films for Spain and Dutch Filmworks for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, among others.

New York-based outfit Katapult Film Sales picked up worldwide sales rights for “Diaries.” The company recently inked a deal with Edko Films for Japan and is holding negotiations with Canadian and U.S. buyers.

Shingle merged with its sales operation with the Coproduction Office, a Paris-based international sales company, in 2008.

“Diaries” was released in Gaul by Kmbo Films in June, earning a warm welcome from the French press.

Katapult previously released another erotic pic collection, “Destricted,” featuring shorts by Matthew Barney, Marco Brambilla, Gaspar Noe, Larry Clark and Sam Taylor-Wood.
