Ten/Four Pictures has tapped veteran exec Steve Cubine as VP of production.
Cubine recently co-produced Ten/Four’s dark comedy “Lucky,” starring Colin Hanks and Ari Graynor and directed by Ten/Four partner Gil Cates, Jr.
Cubine was a principle at Gada Films, which produced “Our Very Own,” starring Allison Janney, Jason Ritter, Keith Carradine and Cheryl Hines. He also produced “Sordid Lives” and the soon-to-be-released thriller “Chain Letter,” starring Nikki Reed, and worked for Lionsgate on “Employee of the Month,” “Why Did I Get Married,” “Meet the Browns” and “The Family That Preys.”
One-year-old Ten/Four is also promoting Stephanie Hall to creative executive. Ten/Four’s strategy is to produce films in the $8-20 million dollar range, financing up to 25% of each budget.
