Cinema Libre nabs rights to ‘Fuel’

Film won audience award at Sundance

Cinema Libre has snatched up worldwide rights for Sundance darling “Fuel.” The film, which won the Audience Award at the 2008 fest, examines America’s reliance on oil from the viewpoint of helmer Josh Tickell. Since then, “Fuel” has accepted invitations to 30 film fests and had 34 commercial theatrical runs, among other projects. The DVD will be available June 22.
