Andrew Vajna to be feted at Hungarian Fest L.A.

Fest runs Nov. 18-21 with eight Hungarian preems

Producer Andrew G. Vajna will be feted with a lifetime achievement kudo at opening night ceremonies for the 10th Hungarian Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Vajna is known for his work on “Evita,” “Total Recall” and several installments of the “Rambo” and “Terminator” franchises including Fox spin-off “The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” where he served as exec producer.

Fest runs Nov. 18-21 at Laemmle’s Sunset 5, and will feature eight U.S. bows of Hungarian feature films including opening night’s “Bibliotheque Pascal,” a surreal tale about the sex trade that scored buzz at Hungarian Film Week and the Berlin Film Fest.
