Was founding partner of Shapiro Glickenhaus

Alan M. Solomon, president of international sales company Amsell Entertainment, died March 18 in Los Angeles. He was 74.

Solomon was a founding partner of Shapiro Glickenhaus Entertainment, an early member of AFMA, and the executive producer of numerous films including “Shakedown,” “Slaughter of the Innocents” and “Timemaster.”

Amsell worked at Warner Bros. and CBS for nearly 40 years before founding Amsell in 1995 with Elliot Solomon.
