Acad foundation taps Provencio Pichardo

She replaces Clark as new topper

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation has appointed Norma Provencio Pichardo as its new topper.

The foundation is the Acad’s charitable branch behind its college TV awards, its internship program, the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship and its annual golf tournament and charity auction. Provencio Pichardo is replacing Terri Clark, who has topped the foundation since 2005.

Previously Provencio Pichardo served as exec director of Workplace Hollywood, a non-profit that helps people from underrepresented communities break into the biz. She has over 15 years experience at Workplace and other such organizations. Provencio Pichardo assumes the new position later this month.
