Rachel Bilson joins ‘BFF and Baby’

Actress set for comedy opposite Ritter, Bosworth

Rachel Bilson is joining indie comedy “BFF and Baby” opposite Krysten Ritter and Kate Bosworth.

Ritter co-wrote “BFF” with director Kat Coiro, who’s making her feature debut. Film revolves around two best friends who fight to maintain normalcy in their lives after Ritter’s character gets pregnant and has a baby.

Production will take place in Los Angeles and start Oct. 19.

Justin Levine of Stardust Pictures (“Boy Toy,” “A Holiday Heist”) will finance and produce. Ritter, Coiro, David J. Phillips and Corbin Timbrook will co-produce.

Bilson’s screen credits include “Jumper” and “The Last Kiss” along with guest star roles on “Chuck” and “How I Met Your Mother.”

She’s repped by CAA and managed by Untitled Entertainment.
