“Crazy Heart,” “How I Met Your Mother,” and “Breaking Bad” were among the winners at the 14th annual Prism Awards Thursday at the Bev Hills Hotel. The event, presented by the Entertainment Industries Council, FX and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, honors the actors, movies, music, media and television shows that bring attention to substance abuse and mental health.
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jeff Bridges won the performance in a feature film category for “Crazy Heart,” which also received an award for feature film substance abuse. Rosie O’Donnell nabbed a kudo for performance in a TV movie or miniseries for “America,” while Timothy Hutton won for performance in a drama episode for TNT’s “Leverage.”
