Intl. Film Circuiet finds ‘Enemies’

Company acquires Sundance jury prize-winning doc

Intl. Film Circuit has picked up docu “Enemies of the People” for theatrical release this summer.

“Enemies,” which scored a world jury special prize at Sundance and a grand jury kudo at Full Frame, centers on the Cambodian killing fields, including on-camera confessions by Khmer Rouge perpetrators of the 1970s genocide.

Movie is a collaboration between Brit filmmaker Rob Lemkin and Cambodian journalist Thet Sambath, who lost his family in the killing fields.

No exact release date for “Enemies” has yet been set. Intl. Film Circuit has released docs including “The Devil Came on Horseback,” “Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg” and “Darwin’s Nightmare.”
