'Fired Up' director offered gig by CBS Films
CBS Films wants to give a job to Will Gluck on its comedy “Get a Job,” set up with Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher at their Double Feature Films shingle.
Studio’s in talks with Gluck, who directed “Fired Up” for Screen Gems.
CBS Films snapped up the spec by Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel last summer. Story centers on a college graduate and his friends who are compelled to lower life expectations when they leave campus for the real world.
Sher and Shamberg produced “Extraordinary Measures” for CBS Films.
Gluck co-created and exec produced the 20th Television series “The Loop.” He also directed “Easy A,” a modern retelling of “The Scarlet Letter,” for Screen Gems.
