Newport Beach Film fest to present over 350 films

The Newport Beach Film Fest will open April 22 with the world premiere of “Five Star Day,” starring Cam Gigandet and Jena Malone. Fest closes April 29 with “Letters to Juliet,” starring Amanda Seyfried.

“Five Star Day” is the directing debut of Orange County native Danny Buday. Premiere will be followed with a Fashion Island gala featuring a Cirque du Soleil Mystere performance. “Letters to Juliet” is directed by Gary Winick and co-stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Vanessa Redgrave.

The 11th edition of the beach community event will present more than 350 films from 47 countries.
