Disney has set Guillermo del Toro’s “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” for domestic release Jan. 21 under the Miramax banner.
“Dark” is produced by Mark Johnson and del Toro, directed by Troy Nixey and stars Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, Bailee Madison and Jack Thompson.

“Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” is the first title to land on the Jan. 21-23 weekend.
