'Desperate Housewives' actress set for indie feature role
Andrea Bowen (“Desperate Housewives”) has been set to star in the upcoming indie feature “Preacher’s Daughter.”
Michelle Mower will direct from her own script, with Adam Donaghey and Susan Elkins producing. Production will begin later this month in Houston.
“Preacher’s Daughter” centers on the estranged daughter of a small-town minister who’s forced to return to the strict, religious home of her youth — where she must confront the troubled relationships that caused her to leave four years before.
Bowen can next be seen in Hallmark’s original film “After the Fall” next month. She has also appeared in Lifetime’s “Girl, Positive,” for which she won a Prism Award, and has made guest appearances on “The Closer,” “Boston Public,” and “Law and Order.”
