Sierra signs deals for U.K., CIS and Mideast

Sierra Pictures has scored key territory deals for Incentive Filmed Entertainment’s 3D thriller “Shark Night,” selling off the U.K., CIS and the Middle East.

Entertainment Film Distributors picked up the film for the U.K., Central Partnership for CIS, and Italia for the Middle East.

Incentive recently made Sierra prexy Nick Meyer its exclusive sourcing and sales agent. Sierra will package and make all distribution deals for Incentive’s pictures.

Directed by David R. Ellis (“The Final Destination,” “Final Destination 2”), “Shark Night” revolves around a group of college friends who spend the weekend at a lake, only to discover that danger lurks beneath its waters.

Ellis will direct from a script by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes. Producers are Chris Briggs, Lynette Howell and Mike Fleiss.

WME packaged the film and is repping North American distribution rights.

Meyer and Marc Schaberg founded Sierra in 2009.
