New York– On July 7, just 24 hours after making his way down the star-studded red carpet outside the New Amsterdam Theater in the blistering Gotham heat for the “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” premiere, Nicolas Cage braved yet another press line.
Luckily the Cinema Society special screening of the Disney pic featured an indoor media catwalk.
“I like the fact that there’s air conditioning at this one,” Cage said. “Yesterday I was just trying to keep it together.”
Cage not only kept it together during the Tribeca Grand Hotel soiree, he was also named first Luminary by Amnesty Intl. for his human rights work.
