Universal Pictures co-chairman Donna Langley, d.p. Cynthia Pusheck and thesps Courteney Cox and Zoe Saldana have been selected as this year’s honorees for Women in Film Los Angeles’ Crystal + Lucy Awards.
Kudos will be presented June 1 at WIF’s annual dinner gala at the Century Plaza Hotel.
Langley, a film production vet who was upped to U co-chairman last fall, will be recognized with the Crystal Award for film. Pusheck has earned the Kodak Vision laurel for her work as cinematographer on ABC drama “Brothers and Sisters,” as well as past TV skeins and features.
Cox has nabbed the Lucy Award for her TV work, most recently in ABC’s frosh laffer “Cougar Town.” Saldana, who had breakthrough roles on the bigscreen last year in “Star Trek” and “Avatar,” will be feted with the MaxMara Face of the Future kudo.
“It is heartening to acknowledge careers marked by independent vision, daring creative choices and unique talent,” said WIF L.A. prexy Jane Fleming.
