Milla Jovovich, the supermodel turned actress, explains it this way: “I used to do things until I got bored, and while it definitely spawned great careers (for me), I never gave one career a shot. When things got tough, I did something else. Now I’m focusing on my acting career, and it’s been lovely.”
Currently onscreen as prison inmate Edward Norton’s wife in “Stone,” Jovovich has reteamed with husband Paul W.S. Anderson for a 3D, family-friendly take on “The Three Musketeers.”
“This year I’ve been working a lot on small, independent films, and I capped it with ‘Musketeers,’?” she says from location in Germany.
The success of “Resident Evil” continues to amaze the actress. “It started as a nothing-low budget-European action-horror film, which was my brother’s favorite video game. It was very tongue-in-cheek, and suddenly it’s this four-movie franchise with a female lead. I’m very proud of where it’s gone.”
