Details for the 17th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are firming up, with the selection of the SAG Awards Committee, randomly selected from a nationwide pool of SAG members.
The committee is responsible for determining the noms in each of the 2010 categories. The actor nominees are selected by separate film and television nominating committees, each consisting of 2,100 SAG members. Members are allowed to serve on a nominating committee only once every five years.
Submissions for nominations open July 12 and close Oct. 28 by 5 p.m. PT. Noms will be announced Dec. 16 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
