Add Toshiba and Panasonic to the growing list of consumer electronics companies working with RealD on smallscreen 3D.
Both deals were unveiled Wednesday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Toshiba plans to introduce 3D into its Regza TV line this year. The sets will support RealD’s stereoscopic format, and the companies will work together on compatible eyewear.
Panasonic, meanwhile, has integrated RealD technology for its 3D Viera TVs and 3D eyewear. The two companies may work together on next generation technologies.
Earlier this week, RealD unveiled an alliance with Samsung on that company’s upcoming 3D sets, which will be bundled with the 3D “Monsters vs. Aliens” disc.
Last month, it inked deals with JVC and Sony.
