PBS culture coverage goes online

PBS Arts live as of Monday

PBS is launching its new PBS Arts website today, debuting four virtual exhibitions that include PBS-commissioned reports and features on sculptors, musicians and other artists.

The culture-focused site provides users with video of artists discussing their work with public television reporters, along with links to features such as Ruin and Revival, which allows users to explore the arts landscape of post-Katrina New Orleans.

Other exhibitions include a profile of Italian pop musician Jovanotti, and Citizen Architect, about Auburn U.’s Rural Studio, a program that teaches aspiring architects in poor communities.
