New hires for Technicolor

Bavaro, Rom to join company in Gotham

Technicolor is strengthening its roots in Gotham with two new hires for its New York City operations. Peter Bavaro will replace Dan Pane, who ankled the company earlier this year, as leader of Technicolor New York. Dominic Rom will join as head of producer’s services.

Previously, Bavaro was exec director of Prime Focus Studios and Post Logic Studios in New York. Rom, a big score for Technicolor, is a 16-year veteran of Duart Film Laboratory and most recently was the COO of lab operations at Moving Images/Postworks.

With other recent additions to its Gotham offices including Clark Henderson and Mona Jackson, Technicolor is looking to beef up its presence in broadcast TV and commercial advertising.
