Pay TV provider MultiChoice will unveil a streaming mobile TV service on Aug. 1, making it the first South African provider to enter the mobile market.
DStv Mobile will offer 11 channels and VOD for 59 rand ($8) a month. The subscription package will include two SuperSport channels, CNN Intl., E! Entertainment, music video web Channel O, and entertainment nets. The service will be available over 3G networks to subscribers of the Vodacom phone network.
