Thesp's Electric Dynamite shingle lands 'Tiny Monsters' at net

Jack Black’s Electric Dynamite shingle is looking to get into the TV animation business, landing the project “Tiny Monsters” at Fox.

Animated laffer, from scribe Ali Rushfield (“In the Motherhood”), centers on a group of mean girls in junior high.

Black and Rushfield are exec producing along with Electric Dynamite prexy Ben Cooley and its TV topper, Priyanka Mattoo. Electric Dynamite is set up at Reveille, where scripted topper Carolyn Bernstein is also on board as an exec producer.

20th Century Fox TV is behind the show, along with Reveille and Electric Dynamite.

An early incarnation of the half-hour was dubbed “Little Bitches” internally — but that title was never official, and has been scrubbed from the script.

Electric Dynamite is also behind the comedy project “My Life as an Experiment,” based on the A.J. Jacobs book. “Experiment,” set up at NBC, is being adapted by Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith.
