Foresight sets muscular slate

It shops Van Damme, Lundgren's 'Universal Soldier IV'

Foresight Unlimited is shopping testosterone on the Croisette, announcing that Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are reteaming for “Universal Soldier IV” in 3D and that Mark Steven Johnson will direct the $35 million “Recoil.”

John Hyams (“Universal Soldier: Regeneration”) begins lensing “Soldier IV” in October.

“Recoil” goes into production in November. Johnson’s past credits include “Ghost Rider” and “Daredevil.”

Storyline revolves around a former FBI sniper who accidentally kills a child. Haunted by guilt, he retires, but is called back into duty when his ex-wife is targeted by a rogue sniper. He discovers the key to saving his ex-wife’s life lies in his own past.

Other films Foresight is selling at Cannes include suspense drama “The Ledge,” starring Terrence Howard, Liv Tyler, Patrick Wilson and Charlie Hunnam, and Patrick Dempsey starrer “Flypaper,” which goes into production next month. “Ledge” recently wrapped production.
