The second annual Entertainment and Technology Summit will feature top Hollywood executives and talent in a one-day program May 3 that will focus on the intersection of television, film and new media.
Variety and Digital Hollywood are co-sponsoring the event at Lowes Santa Monica Hotel headlined by Comcast Entertainment Group chief Ted Harbert, TBS/TNT/Turner Classic Movies EVP Michael Wright and Kevin Pollak of Kevin Pollak’s Chat Show.
Other speakers include Randy Waynick, senior VP of strategy and alliances for Sony Electronic’s Consumer of America Group, USA Network’s president of original programming Jeff Wachtel and Bonnie Arnold, producer of “How to Train Your Dragon.”
Panels will highlight TV distribution, theatrical film production, web originals, brand development and product placement. Program is in conjunction with Digital Hollywood Spring, which runs May 3-6 at Loews.
