‘Alice’ movie trailer views up 52%

Pattinson starrer 'Remember' in second place

“Alice In Wonderland” movie trailer shot up by 52% this week to reach 2.5 million views, claiming first place now that prior competitors “Dear John” and “Valentine’s Day” are out of the ranks.

“Remember Me,” Summit’s upcoming drama starring Robert Pattinson, shot up to second place from sixth with a 43% increase. Post release, “Shutter Island” jumped by 129% to stand in third place with 801,000 online views.

With five weeks until release, Warner Bros.’ “Clash Of The Titans” was the only film to decline in views this week, dropping by 4%. By contrast, upcoming comedy “Bounty Hunter” shot up by 91% this week, pushing the film into fifth place. However, most of that growth didn’t stem from the official trailer but from a clip posted on video sharing site Metacafe.

“Kick-Ass” made its Visible Measures debut in sixth place with 362,000 views seven weeks from release. Seventh went to Overture Films’ “The Crazies,” which bows this weekend. MGM’s “Hot Tub Time Machine,” stands at eighth place.

New to the chart this week is DreamWorks’ comedy “She’s Out Of My League,” which has two weeks until release. At the bottom of the chart is “Cop Out,” directed by Kevin Smith and starring Bruce Willis and Tracey Morgan. It goes wide this weekend.
