Disney pixies set up camp in H'wood
La Cienega Park in Beverly Hills transformed itself into a playground for fairies — only if you believed — on Saturday when Disney preemed “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue.”
Sporting fairy wings supplied by Disney, believers of all ages chowed down on more than a dozen of L.A.’s finest catering trucks. And there were several “Fair Camp” stations where kids created jewelry and fanciful hats, then settled down on blankets and lawn chairs to watch Tink and friends on a giant inflatable screen. An actual shooting star — not planned by Disney — caused oooohs and aaahs during the screening.
Stars from the Disney stable walked the purple carpet including one of the film’s voice stars, Michael Sheen.
