Here’s the official statement from CBS on why it rejected the Super Bowl spot for Mancrunch.

“After reviewing the ad, which is entirely commercial in nature, our standards and practices department decided not to accept this particular spot,” said CBS spokeswoman Shannon Jacobs.

The dating service is calling it a double standard. But it also wouldn;t have gotten nearly the attention it has were the network not running a Focus on the Family spot that has riled abortion rights advocates.
