James Cameron Offers Ideas on Plugging the Leak

James Cameron weighed in on the oil spill on “Hardball” today. Among other things, he tried to correct misperceptions of the effort to plug the leak, he called for the government to create a response team for spills in the future and he explained what he meant when he seemed to call BP officials “morons.”

He also said that he could offer submersibles to the government for site surveys and other activities, and gave his take on what needed to be done in the capping process.

“There is a chance if they make the wrong move, we can make it a lot worse,” Cameron said.
