Dan Glickman To Leave MPAA on April 1

One of Washington's most prized lobbying posts will be open earlier than expected.

MPAA chairman Dan Glickman says he'll leave on April 1 to take the job as president of Refugees International, a leading advocacy org.

The COO of the MPAA, Bob Pisano, will serve as interim CEO as the search goes on for Glickman's replacement.

Pisano himself has been mentioned as a possible permanent successor.

The full story is here.

Update: Our D.C. correspondent, Paul Harris, reports that the MPAA has enlisted Korn Ferry International as its search firm.
