STOCKHOLM — Viasat Broadcasting, owned by media giant Kinnevik, has signed a multiple-year licensing agreement with film company Svensk.
The deal gives Viasat the exclusive pay TV rights in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland to 12 Nordic features per year, produced and co-produced by Svensk. The films are to be shown on the Viasat movie channels. Among forthcoming films included in the deal are currently shooting “House of Angels 3″ and “The Hunters 2.” Viasat has also signed a similar deal with NBC Universal International Television Distribution, for a series of new U.S. productions.Viasat agrees Svensk deal
