Festival to screen more than 40 films in retro

ROME — The Turin Film Festival will celebrate John Huston with a retrospective featuring the prolific helmer’s entire body of work as a director.

Turin’s tribute, curated by Italo critic Emanuela Martini, will also include a book of essays and reminiscences and a selection of films either penned by Huston or in which he performed.

Members of the Huston family are expected to attend the tribute by Italy’s pre-eminent event dedicated to indie cinema.

Headed by auteur Gianni Amelio, the 28th fest will run Nov. 26-Dec. 4.
