ROME – Susan Sarandon will be a special guest at Italy’s Giffoni Film Festival for children, an event where the jurors are kids.
Sarandon will engage in an onstage conversation about her career and take questions from the jurors, which this year will comprise some 3,000 kids from 41 countries.
As is customary at this event, she will not be promoting a pic at Giffoni, which is located near the Amalfi coast in Italy’s Southern Campania region.
As for titles unspooling, organizers announced they have secured the Italo preem of Fox’s “Marmaduke,” prior to pic’s August 20 Italo release.
Giffoni’s 40th edition will run July 18-31.
