'Blind Side,' Jay-Z also nab multiple nods

“Precious” received nine nominations in the NAACP Image Awards features category, announced Wednesday, with three of its femme stars competing against each other for supporting actress honors.

Best pic nominees are “Precious,” “The Blind Side,” “Invictus,” “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” and toon “The Princess and the Frog.”

“Precious” has a 3 in 5 chance of taking home the supporting actress prize thanks to noms for Mariah Carey, Mo’Nique and Paula Patton.

Pic’s other noms are for director Lee Daniels, independent picture for Lionsgate, Gabourey Sidibe for actress, Lenny Kravitz for supporting actor and scribe Geoffrey Fletcher for screenplay.

A supporting actress nom for Zoe Saldana gives “Avatar” its sole recognition from the org, while Alfre Woodard’s performance in “American Violet” rounds out the category.

WB’s “The Blind Side” faces off with “Precious” in three categories — film, actress (Sandra Bullock), writing (John Lee Hancock), while Quinton Aaron drew a nom for lead actor.

ABC is an NAACP Image Award favorite for 2009 with 22 nods in the TV categories, nine more than runner-up NBC. ABC’s noms include best drama for “Grey’s Anatomy.”

ABC, NBC BET, CNN and MTV were all mentioned for Michael Jackson’s memorial service in the variety series or special category.

For the 15th year, kudocast will air live at 8 p.m. ET Feb. 26 on Fox.
